So for those of you who haven’t noticed, we added a ventrilo server page to our available services up on the top. Consider this makeup for the podcast that was pushed back due to the desire to coverage the Sendai earthquake. In the last week I’ve been around multiple symposiums regarding the event and checking to see if my Japanese contacts are all right.
So, in the mean time I’ve been staving off the Madoka withdrawal with anime and related discussion. This was really added on whim, but I see it serving any of the following functions:
- General anime and Japanese discussion, including watching anime episodes in sync whenever the hell we feel like it. (I’m about to watch the new K-ON episode.)
- Fighting game/other netplay game discussion (especially Melty Blood Actress Again.)
- Japanese practice for students.
- Where we may record live podcasts in the future.
- A place to find a bangin’ mahjong game.
So, if you like any of these things come in and hang out in between reading posts. Or just if you’re feeling lonely before you go to bed (in which case you should buy a dakimakura). I’ll see how many people stick around and consider giving it upgrades in the future.
